I changed my profile pic to stop Mendez's whingeing. At the moment I've hacking away at dialogue and story for Steel Penny's "Bruiser and Scratch," which is featured in the May 2008 issue of Game Informer, along with a bunch of other awesome games set to be released on WiiWare. (Yippee!)
But just as soon as I'm done with that, expect me to kick my organic energy drink habit and settle in for some quality rants about how Persona 3 NEVER ENDS.
I thought it'd be fitting to kick off this (very delayed) quasi-professional blog by introducing you to my wildly analog means of creation: my Moleskine notebooks, where I make all my notes (duh), and my Royal manual typewriter (from 1956) on which I write all my first drafts.
I sincerely dislike composing on a computer. It's so easy-breezy and damn convenient that I never feel like I've gotten anything done. That's if I get anything done in the first place. I'm very easily distracted, by the internet, new emails, crosswords, or brightly colored bits of string. While the Royal has, remarkably for today, absolutely no bells of whistles of any kind, except for margins and tabs I can set myself and two colors of ink to choose from.
This is a blog about video games, video game writing and other career relate highjinks. I'm looking to update it once or twice a week, maybe more if something dreadfully excited happens. If you're interested in the goings-on of my non-pixelated, non-polygoned life, you can check out my livejournal or my flickr.
